Waxing
Pre & post care
Hair should be at least ¼ inch long. That’s about the length of a grain of rice.
Don’t apply creams, lotions, or gels to the area being waxed the day of your appointment.
Don’t sunbathe or use sunbeds 48 hours before or after your treatment.
Some advanced skincare products such as anti-aging products and harsh exfoliants must not be used for a minimum of 3 days prior to facial waxing as the risk of irritation and grazing is greatly increased.
If you take blood thinners, have diabetes or cancer a doctors note will be needed to go ahead with any waxing treatment.
If you are unsure if any medication you are on may effect your treatment please ask your therapist
If you are using any of the following please consult your beautician as your wax treatment may not be suitable.
The following products can make your skin more sensitive. Thin, sensitive skin is more vulnerable to skin grazing and sensitivity during waxing.

Nail maintenance needs to be booked at 3 weekly appointments. This ensures that the enhancement remains structurally sound by ensuring that the apex is put back into its correct place. If enhancements are not maintained regularly, the grown-out product can put pressure on the natural nail underneath and can cause a weak structure, which is more prone to breaking and lifting.
